WOW .. what an amazing shot .. this is the sort of shot i wish i could take .. just wonderful .. the splash from the feet of the closest bird brings this together for me .. altho without it its still brilliant .. oh .. and the drops of water . sooooo good .. :)

thankyou so much Lev .. it is always good to learn from the 'master' .. i do believe that 'street' photography takes a certain sort of mindset .. a confidence and ability to get in the zone .. which you seem to have in spades ... i would love to be a fly on the wall and watch you in action .. would be a wonderful learning experience .. and btw .. you are rocking that oly omd em1 .. gotta love the ability to flip out the lcd screen .. i bet that helps with sort of shot ... :)

question .. was this a candid shot .. :)

edit to add .. i often want to take candid shots in public .. but dont want to intrude on ppl's privacy .. especially in a setting like this .. so i usually dont ..
how do you go about taking candids but not feel intrusive .. it could boil down to a confidence thing .. if you feel confident about what you are doing then maybe you are more able to get what you want ... ??

its a beautiful thing to hear of the connection ppl have with their furry friends .. and especially when they have been rescued from whatever circumstances .. often we dont even know what they have been thru .. but their behaviour is often a guide as to the possibility of abuse ..
and it warms my heart to hear of an animal that has gone from standoffish to warm and cuddly ..
loving your grain once again .. !!! .. and her eyes .. looking right into mine .. :)
