hey Janine .. i've been looking at the pics on your profile page .. and i am blown away .. i use that expression a lot .. seems i get blown away a lot .. but only when something is 'worth' it .. !! .. ;)
you have such a wonderful imagination and your editing is amazing ..
i was looking at your entry in the surreal still life .. and imagined you masking off the cup, saucer, flowers in the vase the strawberry etc .. as to me it looked like an extended edit .. my jaw literally dropped when i looked to see what you scored and saw it was standard .. even reading that you had to balance things etc .. i still have no idea how you did that .. just amazing ..
i like this one a lot .. as with every single image you have on your profile page ... i mean who wouldnt ..
but this made me laugh .. as i have quite a few stephen king novels in my bookcase that i've been meaning to read .. i've read quite a few .. he's amazing .. my absolute fav is the green mile .. i read that twice which is very unusual .. then the shawshank redemption .. :)

your loved one goes to somewhere amazing ..

this is absolutely wonderful .. I don't understand the poetry reference .. but would like to know .. as this is 'full' just the way it is .. with an added element I may just get blown away .. !! ..
and totally understand the last minute thing .. I try and avoid it in dpc as it usually backfires.. I'm so glad this didn't for you xx

I think you did an epic job .. not only in the editing .. but getting your 'message' across .. it pleased me greatly that I got the drift ..

i had a friend who did stuff in Photoshop .. but didn't know about masks .. so if it can happen to one person it can happen to others ..
I hesitate to tell you something you may already know .. but using masks is the way to go .. non-destructive and changeable ..

not just for the swans but us as well ..
as it's making me think of the smog that makes its way into our own heads .. that prevents us from living true .. the smog of self interest and greed that seems to run out world ..
I like when an image makes you think outside what was originally 'planned' .. there's something almost .??. in that ..
I'll think of that word later ..

this is incredibly cool .. loving it .. the smoothness of the water .. its like you have taken us into another dimension .. where the physical world doesnt operate like it does here ..
i love your surfer and the beautiful waves .. they look almost like clouds ...
this is magic .. :)

ps .. i personally would love this even more if there wasnt the detail in the waves just behind the surfer .. instead a continuation of the cloud look .. but thats just my personal opinion .. doesnt change the 9 i'm giving you .. :)
