WOW .. at first i felt that this could just be a close up of some river bed or beach area .. where the water had drained away .. i even thought i saw footprints .. see how the mind can play tricks ..
then i realized that this is indeed from a distance .. and a great one at that ..
i love the confusion i felt at first and then the dawning realization .. like finding a gift .. your 'sepia' edit is perfect ..

i think its the way you have shown the layers of the rocks .. its like looking at a slice of our planet from a different vantage point ..
the shapes and patterns of the rocks and the colours are just wonderful ..
and of course the machine there ... almost lost in the image ..
this is BRILLIANT .. !! .. :)

WOW . that sky is INTENSE . i'm loving the way it seems to explode out from behind the monument (i had to google it as i wasnt sure if it was) ..
looking into those clouds there are many shapes that morph into faces and animals and such .. it sucks me in ..
