Larry .. thankyou for that inspired view .. I love the woman in the cloak with the child .. this is so much better with the human element .. it changes the atmosphere entirely for me .. :)

this would have to be the best stinkbug photo i've ever seen ...
however the only stinkbug photos i've seen are ones i've taken myself .. ;) .. and mine dont even come close to the awesomeness of this one ..
i have a feeling i know who took this .. and i want to know what equipment you are using ... when it comes to macro photography .. especially of this calibre .. you really do have to be exceptionally talented but you also need dedicated macro equipment ..

its really beautiful Anita .. its like a fairyland .. makes me think of angels and other dimensions where we might see those elusive creatures ...
i love the glow btw ... but i'm a big lover of glow .. i think tho that the sharpening might be a bit too powerful for this soft and dreamy scene .. it gives it a slight harshness .. but as you know .. thats just my opinion ..
i'm loving the colours .. the stunning reflections .. and that scene .. and how if you were there you'd feel enclosed in that beautiful environment .. gorgeous .. :)
helloo .. i'm just wondering if that area top left hand side of the image is the sky .. if ppl made that assumption then that could be why this didnt do so well ..

was just scrolling thru the challenge .. and saw this .. and Anita took the words right out of my mouth ..
well not exactly .. but i was going to say .. really surprised that this didnt come in the top ten at least .. but more like the top 5 .. or ribbon .. its brilliant .. and i cant imagine anyone would think that's the sky .. i wondered before i opened it during voting .. but when it opened it was totally obvious that it was water and not sky ..
anyway .. this is just a speed hump in the bigger scheme of things .. and i'm glad you entered it .. its a real feast for the eyes .. :)

OMG .. my first thought was drone .. and then i saw the shadow of the plane .. is it possible you took this pic from the plane ..
what an amazing capture .. will be looking to see how you got this image at rollover ..
