the light is AMAZING ..!!!..
i feel like i've stepped into that scene .. its a wonderful image ... stitched to perfection .. wasnt aware that was allowed in standard .. or maybe this is just a panorama and one pic .?.
anyway .. you say the worst time of day to be shooting .. but my eyes tell a different story ..
its absolutely stunning .. especially like i say the light ..
the combination of the yellow fields and the sky creates such drama ..
i can see why this is one of your favs .. maybe you should print it .. its not only a fantastic image but it has the history as well .. :)

i can almost feel that blanket of stillness you experience in the snow .. altho i havent been in the snow that much or for a very long time ..
but this image really conveys that feeling so well ..

how wonderful that they painted that old building red .. it really pops ..
i have seen this building before in at least one other of your challenge entries .. what a great find ..
you could have a series of very different images with that building in them .. and have an exhibition with the photos .. i feel it would be a great success .. as is your place in this challenge .
CONGRATULATIONS on the blue .. loving your composition .. and the mounds of hay? .. if you ever saw the adam's family on tv years ago there was a character in it who was just hair .. reminded me of that .. so much so that i can imagine those mounds wandering around .. lol .. :)
