and you know the expression throwing in the towel .. ie. to quit in defeat .. that's the feeling i get from this pic with the throwing of the cards .. and the man's expression ..

many congratulations Margaret on the ribbon .. would have looked better with a blue or red ribbon for the colour scheme .. but yellow is a nice contrast .. maybe the pilot is wearing yellow sox .. but we cant see them .. ;)

my first thought when i saw this with the blue ribbon was .. 'you can do no wrong' ..
you have such a diverse repertoire .. so many genres .. and you do them all with such aplomb .. !! ..
'aplomb' just came to me while i was searching in my head for a word that would convey what i was trying to get across .. but i thought aplomb mightn't quite fit .. so i googled it .. "self-confidence or assurance, especially when in a demanding situation." .. that's half .. the other half is the excellence ..

ok .. here's my interpretation ..
entering this is definitely 'life on the edge' .. mainly because it doesnt actually show anything ppl could see straight off that is life on the edge ..
there's the edge of the hanging wind chimes . but that wouldnt be enough ..
and of course taken with your title ..
the uncertainty .. will they see the connection or not ..

of course i could be completely wrong ..
that's neither here nor there .. like i said i'm assuming it satisfies the challenge .. and its a stunning shot .. here's a vote to prove all that .. :)
