excellent shot ... and also great to go up to a complete stranger and ask to take their photo ...
i think one of the differences between an average/good photographer and an awesome photographer is that an awesome photographer will go anywhere, and possibly do anything to get that shot ... social embarrassment obviously has to take a walk out the door if you want to become awesome ..
i've been told not to take photos in shopping centres .. the first time sucked .. the second time i thought .. wotever ...
i think its also a process of desensitising yourself to other ppl's opinions ... for me that could take a bit of time!!!

noticed this as a thumb in the thread 'pik your fav pik from the person above you'... i thought it looked interesting as a thumb and the view didnt disappoint ...
gotta say its a beautiful photograph with a lovely and delightful happy feel to it ... often frames/borders can detract from a photograph or overwhelm, but the one you've chosen here is perfect ...

this is the third one i've viewed in your portfolio, all in the 'venice carnival' collection ... stunning shots all of them ..
i particularly like this one because the mask on the left hand side has imperfections, also i can see the eye looking out of the mask ..
