i was looking at this photograph and couldnt quite put my finger on the feeling i was getting from it .... movie set comes close (probably coz of the shadows of the plants) ... very flat ... and that's not a bad thing ..
its an interesting image, and the shadows of the plants and that amazing sky make it just about surreal ..

i burned the roof barn and it improved the image heaps ..... the thing is, and you may know ... when i burned it, it desaturated as well, so then i had to select that burned area and i did an adj layer/col balance and increased the cyan and blue to match the rest of the pic ... would there be an easier way? ...
i'm putting this question here for any other ppl who want to learn stuff .. and i'm gonna send this to you in a PM in case you never see it here ... thanks .......

and happy birthday for 16th December ... my daughter was born on the 1st December .. which is the first day of summer in australia ...... she's a fire sign/sagitarian .. i'm an aries also a fire sign ... can you image!! .. the beautiful thing is that we might be firey, and intense and high strung, but we get over things real quick .... anyway, i'm looking forward to this stressless challenge!!!

hi amy ... i love selective desat and it works well in this image ... also good composition ... this scene looks like where i was today, trying to find something for the 30 day where i live challenge .. got a pic of a 2 carriage train but i was in portrait so missed most of it .. i didnt know it was coming till too late .... its going to be real hard commenting on 60 ppls work every day ...... :)
