just googled the title and wot a fitting title it is!!! “May eternal light shine upon them" .. and sorry but the title boosts this from 8 to 10 ..!! .. i say sorry, coz i'm voting not only on the image but the combination of the image with its title, and of course how well it fits the challenge ..

a beautiful image .. this church seems out in the middle of nowhere, which gives it a sort'v forlorn appearance .. the beauty of the surroundings just increases that feeling for me .. and i think i can see a road going off into the distance?? .. i'm imagining the road finishes at the church!! .. of course that's probably entirely wrong .. but thats wot this is all about .. creating something in the viewer and everyone's gonna see it differently ... i love your processing ...=9

man .. this is totally excellent .. i reckon you'll get marked down coz of your processing .. ppl might say things like 'this is a photographic challenge' .. i personally dont agree with that viewpoint .. as soon as you sharpen an image you are into the realms of digital art .. its just a matter of degree .. it is after all an advanced edit challenge .. and of course if something is artistically pleasing then that's an added bonus .. WHICH THIS IS!!!! .. excellent composition .. excellent idea ... just plain excellent .. =10
