Ant 2by zardozComment: this is the most awesome close-up ever .. the huge bulk of that leaf and the ant carrying it you've shown so well .. incredible photograph ..
you got some awesome photographs from that bench as well ... setting yourself a challenge like that is a great idea and a wonderful way to really see wot may have gone unnoticed before ... :)

Mr Percivalby emlbakerComment: great shot and i really like your processing ..
i met up with some other dpc ppl this sunday at terrigal, which is north of sydney .. they have pelican feeding there and of course being dpc ppl we took some photographs!! .. i never realised how weird their eyes are coz i'd never seen them up close before .... owen owen, who was there on sunday, has an absolutely incredible pelican shot on his profile page, and when i first saw it i thought he'd photoshopped the eyes!!! .. but they're a very photogenic bird i reckon .. :):)

Born Freeby ShannonLeeComment: i love this one too .. love the way the image is divided by the beam and on one side you have your horse and on the other a butterfly .. the horse enclosed & tame and the butterfly still wild and free .. that's just my take .. :):)xx |

futureby sevilduvarciComment: i think your composition is great ... i love the weirdness of this .. i particularly love the way the shadow is sort'v curled over and the positioning of both the boy and the shadow in the image .. love the way the boy is looking to his left at something we cant see (he looks kinda worried!!)... this is THE most awesome image .. i'm glad i came to put something in the 'add your new updated image here' thread coz i found this .. EXCELLENT .. :):)

i once was blind, but now i seeby ShannonLeeComment: shanny .. when i saw this as a thumb i thought it was a real cat ... wot a surprise when i opened it .. then i read your comment .. my mum, who was an incredible oil painter lost her sight gradually in the last 7 years of her life ... it was the saddest thing to see ... she had macular degeneration which can be hereditary and lots of much older ppl get it .. she died last year at the age of 91 but she was able to die in her own bed for which we, as a family were very grateful ... she was ready to go and my family and i spent heaps of time with her before she went ... she lived an hour and a half from where i live .. i wore that road out driving to see her all the time!!! ... i miss her so much ...
i sometimes imagine if i could even live without my sight .. it is my world ... and then i think of ppl who have lost their sight and i feel very very sad for them, but i also feel gratitude for the blessings in my life ... :):)xxx |

Run !by FirstyComment: WOW keith ... i just love your processing .. this is truly stunning .. the colours, the depth, the way the girl is reaching out for the chain, (she looks like she's just about to get eaten up by that wave), the boy running .. everything in this image works to perfection ... this photograph really tells a story, an exciting one ... fantastic .. :):) |
