it is very dark on my monitor, but its a sharp contrasty darkness and the details where i spose you want them are still visible, like on his face .. excellent the way he really does pop out'v the background .. you and me both love the 'other' edits !!! ..

OMG !!.. this is excellent .. they are the weirdest looking creatures the alpacas eh? ... our neighbours have some & when the natural light portrait challenge was on i thought that a photograph of one of these animals would be the go ... i took several photographs and realised that they arent as photogenic as sheep .. so i ended up putting a photo of a sheep in .. i'd got comments in the previous portrait challenge, when i entered a sheep, that an animal wasnt really a portrait, so i checked in the dictionary and this time put as a title .. "definition of portrait - likeness of person or animal (this is an animal!)" .. i thought i was being funny !! ... but after voting started i got comments and an email or two because ppl thought i was being a smart a$$ .. obviously ppl dont appreciate my extremely lame sense of humour ... if i'd put the alpaca in i would'v called it glamourous ... that would'v been humourous as well ... i probably would'v got slaughtered !!

wow .. love the sense of movement in this .. the water looks like its being blown by the wind .. beautiful, just about translucent look, on the 'dish' things where the water runs over ..
i personally dont mind the blown out edge as it gives a more dramatic contrast etc .. sometimes you cant get away from that sort of thing especially outside in the sunlight .. there are ways you could adjust it in photoshop tho ..:)
