it makes me think of some big dumb giant using ropes for suspenders lol

I love the angles of the ropes, I wish the background didn't fight the lines so much. Its funny but the detail in the cloth takes away from the rope a little IMHO when I feel the ropes should be the main focus of this shot. Hope that makes sense to you.

This is cool! Great lines and textures here. I like the side lighting and the way it plays against the ropes and through the grommets. Nice tonal range, too. Way to go!

Due to some good suggestions, I have re done most of my images up till now, and removed the white borders. I am going to have most of them up for selection, for DPC prints, and they are better in this new format.

Cool work Sheryl - great perspective on a classic hammock.

This one's a "wow", or a "wowzers" as Art puts it :) Really good B/W. Love that detail on the canvas and the knots.

[And, humbly, I agree with Lesley, you don't need all that heavy framing, let the picture speak for itself, it's good enough.)

Wowzers, Shez! This is really a superb image! Love the detail, textures, lighting, comp - all of it! AND you've given me an idea for a new style of suspenders! :)

i really like this shez, but i wish you wouldnt use these frames,
sometimes, your photos dont need such window dressing. :)

try the polaroid frame, i'd love to see that.

my humble opinion.
