oh Erin .. just noticed the dq ..
i dont use lightroom or import into photoshop .. so would never have known that that would be a problem in a minimal edit challenge ..
i've read what you wrote in the dq thread .. and you are right . .
they should make it very obvious what you can do in a minimal edit ..

i'm really sorry this happened to you and knocked this stunning image off the front page ..
you should print it and hang it on your wall .. its just so beautiful .. that way the dq mightnt feel quite so yucky .. xx

but yesterday i visited my nephew David and i looked through this challenge with the twins .. who are 9 years old ..
we all loved this pic .. i told them i new the little boy's grandpa .. that we talk about spiritual things .. lol ..
this is the sort of pic that should be printed .. digital images get lost .. :)

like i was just commenting on Wendy's photo .. i was looking through this challenge with my grand nieces yesterday which was the day before rollover here in australia .. and this was one of the photos in the challenge that made our jaws drop and go OMG OMG ... just amazing .. such a stunning piece of art ..

yesterday i looked through this challenge with my grand nieces who are 9 years old ..
we were totally blown away by this image .
and actually came back to look at it at least two or three times .
you have a couple more fans in australia now ..

oh .. btw . they were saying .. OMG OMG . how can someone get a photo like that .. they were almost mesmerized ..
i told them it would take a crazy amount of talent .. incredible patience .. and being in the right place at the right time ..
i also told them that it would be stacks more difficult that shooting insects .. lol .. ;)

gives me the goosebumps ..
