Spanby quiet_observationComment: I think you got a little bit robbed score-wise on this photo. I suspect the cut-off lamppost may have dragged score down, as it takes away from the composition somewhat. In fact, I'd love to see this photo with just that front lamppost cloned out.
Otherwise- stunning sky and great sharp focus. |

Circular perspectiveby MelethiaComment: Deb,
What can I say? This most assuredly does NOT suck :-) In fact, it is a gorgeous photo with wonderful perspective. I am especially impressed with the lighting - you managed to avoid any blown highlights in spite of all those whites. |

Visual and Historicalby levyj413Comment: Jeff,
Wonderful perspective and curves in this photo. I think the only dampening factor is the lighting, which I realize was probably just about impossible in this location (been there myself a few times). Unfortunately, the bright footlamps draw attention away from the beautiful soft lines. Overall really nice shot, though. |

Out with the Trashby JuliBocComment: Julianne,
I love this shot! It is so humorous and the focus / exposure are just right. I think you should be happy it is included in your profile, as it is very clever and funny. |

thumbscapeby posthumousComment: The composition and bright highlights in bottom portion don't work for me here. |

Ice Blueby JutildaComment: My first reaction - wow, this is a sublime photo. I wish the tip of the ear wasn't cropped, but otherwise near perfection. 9. |

Push Pinby RockBruiseComment: Although some might find the push pin body too soft, I am not bothered by that, as I assume it was intentional. What doesn't work so well is that the most vibrant part of this - the metal pin portion- naturally becomes the subject as the eye is drawn to it first. Due to its position, the eye then goes straight out of the photo. I'd like to see this with the pin rotated and the metal tip pointed down into the photo. |
