nice eyes. too bad about the strings on the arrow + basic editing. Still very likeable.

Eh, could have been funny, the dof is good but the strings are distracting and take away from this picture

This is cute. The photo is well exposed and the clarity/focus is good. A little overzealous with the noise reduction (plastic looking skin). Did you forget this was a basic challenge and couldn't reshoot without the strings holding the arrow in place? Best of luck to you in the challenge.

Good idea. Too bad the strings are showing.

Looks like Neat Image or Noise Ninja was a tad too strong resulting in plastic skin

had it not been for the string then maybe a 10

Great expression--looks like you already shot it! Little more DOF might have helped

If the strings holding the arrow were not visible I would have voted 10. 9 for the strings, but great photo.

The strings holding up the arrow really hurt this. I love the expression.

good concept but i can clearly see the fishing line or thread and the face is over processed

Bonus point for the great expression on your model!

I think the string/nylon around the arrow spoils it. Lovely face.6

If only the strings weren't visible! Love the expression, great shot.

Ha ha, great shot.... but you can see the string still tied to the arrow?

The string is a little distracting, perhaps some modeling clay or putty could be used to hold the apple. Great overall impact.

Terrific expression, but the string is a killer.

is that selective editing? if not, GREAT PIC

This is a clear arrow away from a perfect 10.

I absolutely love the soft focus and expression on kid's face. The dart is distracting, especially with the fishing line.

Creative, i think 3 other people had the same idea, yours was pulled off the best

Great expression! Too bad about the wires on the arrow, but with basic editing what can you do? Well done--7

This is GREAT ! I love the expression. And the perspective on the arrow. Shame the wires are not invisible. Couple of very minor niggles - the white hairs on the robe are distracting, and the chink of background bottom right keeps pulling my eye away from the scene.

Some things could have been better... the sting could have been edited out and the hair on the sweater.

way too much Neat Image or Noise Ninja. Good expression, visible strings are distracting.

The subject's eyes are striking, but the skin (especially around the mouth and nose) seems devoid of detail and very plastic, which I thought was a shame because it lost a lot of the impact of the photo for me.

Nice shot of those eyes

Cute idea and expression... but I probably would have left the arrow out of it completely. For one thing, we can see that the arrow hit the apple successfully, so these wouldn't be "last words." And the string holding up the arrow is very visible :)

too much neat image ... details in teh skin are lost

If only you had the opportunity to remove the threads.

Would have been better without the blurry arrow and string. Eyes are great.

too bad this was basic editing - maybe you could have had a person hold the fletchings off camera and ... but great facial expssion and idea.

hmm, you overprocessed the face, but left the string visible...okay...I don't get it.

It's too bad we can see the string. Also, with this title I think it would've been better to not have the arrow there at all. The picture is very crisp. Good job!

That face! Priceless! Great Set-Up & Portrait! Even the lines that hold the arrow add to the whimsy! Great Job! :)
