Poles Apartby riotComment: This is an extraordinary photo. Getting the details to show with those star trails is amazing. 10. |

The Thin Ice (The Wall 1979)by btuckComment: This is a great sports photo. Excellent motion capture and good composition. However, it feels a little shoehorned into this challenge. |

The Wallby NikonJebComment: While the photo is technically fine, there is nothing here to draw me in. |

welcome to the machine...by botticcelliComment: Although the composition is fairly strong, there is nothing about this photo that pulls me in. It has a bit of a yellowish cast that affects the sky. Also, cloning out that hot pixel on the left above the crane would help. |

Saucer Full Of Secretsby Man_Called_HorseComment: I really like the creative use of papers on the saucer. If this had just a tad more breathing room around cup (white space) and the focus sharper, I think you'd be in serious contention. |

wish you were here / motherby annevComment: Looks a little busy - there may be too much going on in this photo. However, the composition isn't bad. I think a shorter DOF would help here. |

Missing Youby outafocusComment: I like the idea a lot, but the composition feels a little off. I think it might be stronger if the boots were closer and the beret in full view. Hope if this is a family member in Iraq he (or she) comes home soon! |

"Dogs"by chelsearocksComment: The dogs have a blue cast that keeps them from popping. Maybe consider changing white balance (open shade setting would warm them a lot; cloud setting would warm them a bit). |
