Alluringby MakkaComment: Consider toning skin on legs a bit - has a red cast that doesn't match golden effect on chest. Great lighting around face, though. |

Icy Coldby annependletonComment: Bokeh is very pretty and enhances the model. Nice post process, looks soft and natural while still sharp. |

Ringling's sunsetby illoosi0nComment: Nice composition, but something looks off about the clouds, like an HDR that didn't quite match up or cloning that is too even? |

Rocky terrainby jsonComment: The colors are beautiful but the foreground looks a little pixelated, especially around edged of rocks. |

the moonlight sonata, pianissimoby silverfoxxComment: Svetlana,
This is lovely. The blues really enhance the mood (did you use a tungsten filter?) I might like to see more sharpness in subject, but understand the soft effect was most likely deliberate. Another great entry! And look at those scores from commenters! |

Horse trainer - after the ride, self-portraitby snafflesComment: I agree with lynnesite that the tight crop was really effective. You've got a nice intersection of lines that draws the eye right to the subject. I think the only thing I'd consider on this is a slight warming filter (has a slight blue cast of the type that occurs when auto white balance is not corrected in cloudy or "open shade" situations). A very slight luminescense to even out skin on face would also enhance.
Great photo! |

Editorby levyj413Comment: I was surprised by the score on this. I thought it would end up considerably higher. You actually pulled off an effective graphic representation of editing, and you did so with strong lighting (no blown whites at all).
Question for you: how long was your exposure on this? I've never tried a long exposure and am curious to give it a go. Thanks! |
