This is lovely and charming. A great capture. The light is beautiful, and I think the saturation is just right. The only criticism I have is that it may be a tad over-sharpened.

If this were my picture, I would experiment with Levels and Exposure in PS. It seems washed out the way it is, but with Offset and Gamma adjustments, it could pop right out.

When I first looked at this in our TS results posting, I though, "Do we have a new member named Icarus?" That would be a cool userid.

Anyway, about the photo -- I gave it an 8 because I like it a lot! It has an Easter feel about it with the flare of the sun and the cross effect of the outlet and horizon. I like the way the sunlight seems to flow out with the water. Sorry, I should have gone even higher on the score.

I feel like I'm looking through dirty eyeglasses when I look at this shot. Even though I like the patterns on the snow, I can't get beyond the ill effect of the lens flare.

I agree with Boyd -- this is creepy. Interesting, because it is usually the night shots of cemeteries that are creepy, while the day shots are usually peaceful. The contre-jour seems to have the effect of bringing the night feel to the day photo.
