a stimulating mix of simple realism with a too-perfect arrangement of elements. I gave this a 7 and would have bumped it higher if I had had time. The title is perfect for this. It adds just the extra story needed.

When I first looked at this in our TS results posting, I though, "Do we have a new member named Icarus?" That would be a cool userid.

Anyway, about the photo -- I gave it an 8 because I like it a lot! It has an Easter feel about it with the flare of the sun and the cross effect of the outlet and horizon. I like the way the sunlight seems to flow out with the water. Sorry, I should have gone even higher on the score.

Not sure which is Icarus - the jet or the bird, but this is one sumptuous photo for all that it is basically patterns of light.

Nice blue sky, great color in the water, the bird flying across adds greatly to the picture.
