pink impact.by LMA128Comment: I wish the shot wasn't so washed out. The composition is lovely, and the pink flower stands out nicely as the color subject. |

tsby alexjackComment: Great image. Love the composition and the colors. However, there is so much color that nothing really stands out as being the subject. |

Mellow Yellowby freakin_hilariousComment: Outstanding. Beautiful colors and DOF. Focus seems a little soft on the subject, but I like the overall softness of the image. |

greenleafby kenobiComment: The challenge details said: "Use a colorful impact to offset your subject from the rest of the photograph." In my opinion, this does not meet the challenge, because the color subject is the entire photo. |

Summer's Burstby FocusPointComment: Lovely colors and nice focus. The challenge details said: "Use a colorful impact to offset your subject from the rest of the photograph." In my opinion, this does not meet the challenge, because the color subject is the entire photo. I think if there were more background in the shot this would have been more effective for this challenge. |

Midnight Sunsetby orvaratliComment: What a view! I wonder how much the owner wants for the shack? ;-) Beautiful burst on the horizon. |

glow.by nostalgicComment: I think this is a stunning image. But it seems to me that the light, rather than the color, is what offsets the subject here. Still it is so beautiful I'm voting 8. |

Winner?by santiago9erComment: Unfortunately the image is showing up way too small on my monitor for me to see any detail. I think you have a marvelous burst of color. It looks like a pleasing abstract. The challenge details said: "Use a colorful impact to offset your subject from the rest of the photograph." In my opinion, this does not meet the challenge, because the color is the entire subject of the photo. |

No Parkingby L2Comment: I like your processing on this. You turned an otherwise average snapshot into a nostalgic illustration. Nice colors. I like the way the color of the door is repeated in the underside of the boardwalk. 8 |
