My clematis seed pods don't look quite like that; I'll have to go shoot one now (if I can find them under the butterfly bush). Yours is very cool! The twist to it is fabulous.

I would never have guessed asters with all those petals; I think of them as single-petalled flowers. The New England type, I guess.

Your "vase" is interesting and a nice contrast to the feminine colors of the flowers. Definitely would play with some other lighting options to soften those harsh highlights.

Nice combination of shots. I like the rear one best, as they seem to be recoiling from something (traffic?) and the way the stem branches looks a lit like a hand supporting them.
