As close as I could get to a Friday the 13th shot! A clematis bloom which is almost completely turned to seed, with a butterfly bush going every whichway in the background. Used the flash for fill as it was getting dark.

This clematis just appeared one day so I have no idea what variety it is, but it's back for its 3rd year so apparently it's hardy.

PP - converted from RAW, cropped, increased contrast, converted to BW, added border, resized, sharpened with noise reduction.

I like it. B&W works well for this little bit of chaos.

The background adds drama without overpowering the composition, although cropping some of the negative space from the top and right sides would keep more focus on your subject. Flash worked well to illuminate.
