It is such a shame about the dust (?) spots on the glass, it spoils the otherwise awesome effect. I still love it, though, and admire the imagination. Super idea!!!

Not quite there yet.... in my opinion, a successful motion panning photo has at least SOME of the subject in clear focus, whilst the background shows the tell-tale streaks.

This photo has a lot going for it. I like the bird, the colors, the light, the nicely out-of-focus background (shallow DOF), but one thing I don't see is evidence of motion panning (where the subject is in focus, and the background has the tell-tale streaks).

You're on the right track - this would have been lovely with at least the little girl's face in focus. Call me unartistic if you must, but I need to see SOMETHING in focus for it to work as a motion panning shot.
