I really like the vertical lines, hopefully that was the intent. I think there maybe a few too many. I also think the light is a bit too even to bring any depth to the photo. STill I like the intent and the mix of natural elements works well.

Technicals are terrific. I like the composition as a whole. This is one time where I feel the eyes are incorrect as they neither are engaged with the viewer or the enivornment as such it kind of takes you out of the moment. While I like the simple expression, I think it kind of takes aways from the moment.

I think there is a bit too much contrast or at least the main focal lighting is on the wrong section (sleeve). However the expression is terrific. I also like how your burned out the distracting background. The textures of the boy's shirt really work well.A splendid shot overall.

The problem with this shot it is too small to really enjoy all the details. As such it is very easy to over look the details, especially considering the frenzy of FS voting. I might have cropped off the right a bit, but that would be about it.

A shot that suffers from the 640 rez.

Very nice color contrast. I also like how the leaf seems to float above the snow. Very interesting angle for a very typical isolation shot. Post might be a little over done as it appears metallic, but maybe that was the intention? Gave you a 6 in the challenge.

I think the overall DoF is terrific. If both eyes would have been in focus I think you would have nailed it. I am not sure about the arm, as you don't get to see the hand. I think seeing the whole hand would have improved the image. However, I still think it is a very stunning shot. The colors are terrific and the engagement of the subject is wonderful. I gave you a six in the challenge.

I think this was the case of the autopilot 5 voting going on with the occasion 4 to bring down the average. A shame.

The scene itself is marvelous. a good position of elements and I like the DoF here (or gaussian blur...). I think there is just a tad too much contrast and darkness in the clouds, more of the original type clouds but everything else as is.

Well the image definitely pops and the colors and sharpness are spot on. Just have the bird look at you and you would have had a 6+ photo in my opinion. However, as is this is a highly technical shot and you should be applauded. Nice post work too.

Well, people here always like when the subject looks into the camera. However, I think this shot would have lost a lot of it's charm if there where the case. I think the pose is perfect. Only suggestion is the focus seems to be on the hair rather than the eyes. But it is quite minor. Very fun portrait.

Well this is gorgeous. Going into favs. This is the type of stuff I like. The only suggestion might be to reduce the blues a bit. I always feel blue and ice go together well, blue and snow not nearly so. Still love the overall shot.
