| I think that the background draws attention from the leaf, and the leaf itself looks unreal. |

| Very nice color contrast. I also like how the leaf seems to float above the snow. Very interesting angle for a very typical isolation shot. Post might be a little over done as it appears metallic, but maybe that was the intention? Gave you a 6 in the challenge. |

Well I scored this a six. I cant quite understamd why it only scored 5.36.
It is sharp, well composed and the colours grab your attention.
Two thoughts...One maybe feel it was overprocessed and verging on digital art (I am not one of those people but I could see how the misconception could be made). Secondly, we seem to have had a surfeit of single leaf shots in recent weeks, a lot of these have not been as good as this but some have possibly been better. Sometimes when a subject is feel to have been overdone people fail to get the wow factor of the shot
I thought this was an excellent shot though and one I would have loved to take |

| This is great. I suspect the score would have been infinitely higher if more of the leaf were in focus, but I love the sparkling background and think this is most underrated. |

| Nice post process. I like the shadow on ice here. Cool DOF, it might be bit too narrow though. Nice photo overall :) |
