I love the colors and overall backdrop going on here. It is an amazing backdrop. I think it is just missing some "person" to really bring the idea together.

I like the light coming in and the mood of the child really works well. The three sets of legs around the case give this alot of character. I am not sure of the blue. I know you were going for cyanotype and to fit the mood, I just think it is a little too strong in the blue department. Still an interesting shot and does make you think which is always a good thing.

I like what you did in post on this one. Sharpness and exposure is great. I am guessing that was ice traditional what they were sitting on? Simple patterns, very nice texture. A good shot for the challenge.

A great idea here. I love the details in everything, you seemed really to capitalize on the ickyness. Excellent exposure and sharpness. I think the only thing missing is the current perspective. The composition just seems a little uneven. I am not sure how many shots you took, but I think a different angle might have worked better. Nonetheless it is a great shot for the challenge. I gave it a 6 during voting.

I actually "like" the photo, well not the border. I reminds me of a color negative or some type of infrared image. It is striking in that regards. As for the challenge, I think you went with being a little too literal and too blunt.

Most DPCer's like emotion, so while this is a bad photo it doesn't feel like a bad situation. At least that is the only reason I can see why it scored poorly. Nice thought put into this challenge though.

I think this is a great picture. I like the exposure and the angle. The rain drops make the image. I think it is just missing a central subject to tie it together, like some person running in front of your car. That would have made the image for me, however this image is still deserving of a higher score.

Raish, I like the message here. Yes it works for the challenge. However, I think this is the other extreme. This image is more about the challenge than photography. It's just a picture of an Ad, as such it is the same as a Xerox.

Unless you did do some "post" or "setup" here. I just don't see it, there aren't any details so I am just left with my initial opinion.

Now if this is a work in photography, then it is truly a work of art, reminiscent of Warhol. Put little tid bits that look like pop art, but still make it a photo.

Thing is I gave you a "5" for the concept alone. It would be interesting to see if you could stage this in real life with an added border, then you would have gotten a 10 from me.

When I first saw this picture, I thought it was Virgin Mary holding little baby Jesus. Oh well. I like your interpretation. Wondeful lines and colors. Good focus. But really it is the two purple lines that really work for me.
