I only cropped a very tiny bit off the bottom because the edge of the backdrop was visible. I like the idea of more negative space on the right. I will try to create that by increasing the size of the canvas. |

| When I first saw this picture, I thought it was Virgin Mary holding little baby Jesus. Oh well. I like your interpretation. Wondeful lines and colors. Good focus. But really it is the two purple lines that really work for me. |

| those extra lines that Jeff mentioned were the difference between a 7 and a 9 in my score. they give your photo a beautiful abstract composition of lines... where did I hear that before? |

| Beautiful find and nicely shot! I'm of two minds about the extra stems. Part of me wants them cloned out to make the subject flowers stand out. But part of me wants to leave them in to make this a found scene within a natural setting, which is more interesting. |

| Quite emotive posing, and nicely composed as a picture. I might have cloned out the brown stem at the upper right, although that might have left too much negative space there. It almost looks like it's peeking in on the scene and it's just curious, not sympathetic or grieving. Or I'm reading too much into a stem ;-) |

| maybe if the head of the flower was a looking a little lower (head hung low)IMO, I like the border effect |
