Skimmerby zohar-halfonComment: Not sure how much you had to crop, but the difficulty of the shot has to be commended. |

Twirlby LERtasticComment: I like the angle and the emotion. While I like the dark shadows, maybe a bit too much as you can't pull the pants from the rest of the frame. Still fun wedding shot. I'm sure they are happy with it. |

"Dusty"by IntelliComment: I have the same dog, well two actually (unless it is not a weimaraner, can't be too such in B&W). Much better than my own though. Nice lighting and how you can see both eyes. |

Defianceby juliedancer116Comment: Here is what I like about the shot, I like how the light seems to reflect off the wax and the metal of the other dishes, that really brings a nice feeling to the photo. I wish there were a few more candles in the background rather than the black space, but just a nit pick more than anything. |

No Parking Any Timeby nixterComment: I like how you minimized the impact of the other people by just including their legs and at the same time keeping it critical to the photo. The little wooden post thing seems to mimic the human legs in a pleasing way. Myabe just a bit too much contrast for me (or the white a bit too bright). Nice evocative photo. |

The Flakes Have Taken Overby libertyComment: Not sure if I see the crowd part on the picture. But beyond that an interesting take on the competition of textures. Since you went with a square crop, I might have preferred the leaf in the center of the frame. I do like the shadow and light play. Maybe emphasize that a bit with a curves adjustment, concentrating more on the shadows? |
