 i noticed this bug on a bush where i walk on the firetrail .. it was a few hours before the challenge deadline .. obviously i thought of complimentary colours immediately .. his colouring was perfect .. i was able to take a few photographs before our old smelly dog brushed by the bush and the bug flew away .

Coooooooool macro Roz and the electric blue of the insects head (are they naturally that colour in Oz or did you spray paint it? ;-) ) goes brilliantly with the gentler pastels of the flowers

As ever the dof and sharpness are just bang on.
