Barren? You're kidding me? I see trees, green grass, smoke coming out of a chimney suggesting a nice warm fireplace...it's anything but barren to me. It's a nice photo but I don't think it fits the spirit of the challenge. I was also hoping to see more photos that took advantage of the expert editing.

Yeah, I guess 20 below is harsh. Does the photo convey that...? ...somewhat. Is it expert editing, no, it's pretty basic...inverted. It's still a nice photo...the dead-center thing isn't very pleasing to me...it's your photo though and I'm sure you like it. The texture of the snow is the coolest thing...no pun intended. Over-all, I like it. I'm not voting but I'd give you an 8 if I were.

Hmmm? It seems like a snapshot without much editing at all. Maybe I'm wrong? I was hoping for some really cool photos with the expert editing rule in force. Your photo is still nice...I like it...I was just hoping for more.
