I think the color and lighting in this photo is good. However with the background I feel like you are trying to showcase something and I can not figure out which it is. Logically I am thinking the award on the bottom left, but it is cut off. My eye is drawn first to the office supplies and then to the certificates on the wall.

This story and photo really makes you break down your pre-conceived notions about homeless people. The stereo-types, and wonder how they got to be in this position. It is wonderful to hear about your pot luck parties and that you go the extra mile to not just help them out with food but to help them out as friends too.

The first thing I thought when I saw this was the complete trust he has in her. Usually if mom goes to look at that foot they get squirmy. Very cute picture. I love the processing too.
