Ragsby NikonJebComment: Jeb, I didn't realize until just now that this was yours! I thought it was a really great portrait. Definitely underrated by the scorers.
Cheers,

10. A sorry soggy sightby suemackComment: Wow, Sue -- such a nice variety in your entries so far this month. You have a good empathy with animals, too. I like the DOF of this and the subject, of course. The raindrops underneath the perch really add to the subject. Don't worry about the bird -- he's built to keep the water on the outside. :-) |

Measuring Spoons Day 7by riversongComment: The lower right corner is a bit odd, but actually the heavy noise removal makes the metal spoons look amazing. Very nice! |

WHY by alecnormanComment: Excellent tones for a very dramatic photo that fits the challenge theme well.
I worry your black background was added in PP and will get you DQ'd as happened to a ribbon winner in the most recent Free Study. But I will vote as if it has been validated! :-) |

WhiteTrash Clownby russiComment: I was sure I'd commented on this, but my comment seems to have disappeared. Anyway, great image. Every element is spot-on, including the wrinkled backdrop and the square crop. Very well done.
Note: as I wrote before, "white trash" may be a politically incorrect term, if that matters to you -- though on second thought it is fitting for this "incorrect" image! |

Last Callby LalliSigComment: Really interesting, though I honestly can't tell what's happening. Is it intentionally enigmatic, or am I missing something? Anyway, a high score from me. |

Why...!?by MartijnComment: Nails the theme and then some. I hope you didn't resort to arson to take this photo! I think the light is a bit harsh, better if toned down *or* used to your advantage (as if he is being lit by a news crew). Anyway, a very high score from me. |

Why me?by OdedComment: Please tell me you didn't tie the mouse in that position! LOL
Nicely composed, fits the theme, love the red, white & black, and the mouse should win an award for acting. |
