Why...!?by MartijnComment: Nails the theme and then some. I hope you didn't resort to arson to take this photo! I think the light is a bit harsh, better if toned down *or* used to your advantage (as if he is being lit by a news crew). Anyway, a very high score from me. |

Why me?by OdedComment: Please tell me you didn't tie the mouse in that position! LOL
Nicely composed, fits the theme, love the red, white & black, and the mouse should win an award for acting. |

Bride and Gloomby librodoComment: This is wonderful. I love the color palette, the faded reds in the bouquet and on her face and nails. Not sure what I'm looking at frame left (the black blob) and right (the magnified red). Are you shooting through glass? Did you overlay a filter? Anyway, a very interesting photo that nails the theme to boot. |

Day 11by breadfan35Comment: Really nice tones in this b&w. Fresh take on the subject.
Btw, a very minor thing, but I notice a spot somewhat centered below the water line on the right side of the glass. I can't tell if it's on the vase or if it's a spot on the lens. |

day 11 - leavesby GinaRothfelsComment: Yup, aside from those aforementioned smudges, this is clean and fresh looking. I really like how the off-center leaves in the background offset the centered main subject. |

Day 11 - Lines.jpgby MonicagdComment: Ahhh -- good macro. Something like this might answer the new Puzzle Macro challenge. I guess I could have figured it out, but at first glance I had no idea these were shells. |

Amazing results. I've been looking through your portfolio and I would have sworn you had at least built a little mini-studio or lightbox. Another great image in your series.
PS: The lemon looks so clear and moist -- well done. Message edited by author 2007-06-13 11:41:58. |

ordinary11.jpgby pcodyComment: I think this beats the sepia version hands down. I like the rusted metal, and the pink/purple clip adds visual interest. Good DOF, too. |
