As the war goes on more and more of my brothers and sisters in arms are being killed. At some point in time everyone has to ask why?

Yes indeed. I like the way you set this up. Good lighting and creative camera work. This should score high as many of us wonder why on this subject.

OK i can see what you were going for with the breakfast paper but IMO the plates detract from the impact of the image.

I ask myself the same thing all the time. The weakness here is not the subject, but the execution.... Maybe the focus us a little off. I think I would also like a different setup. Maybe if the photo was of someone reading the paper over breakfast... just some thoughts

I am not a good photographer, I do not claim to be better than anyone, any criticism is meant to be constructive criticism......
