 What little sewing that I do know how to do - trust me that is not much- I learned in the 6th grade on this machine. I almost saved this for the June free style and decided to go ahead and use it now. I thought that it might get lost in all of the other beautiful entries.

This brings back pleasant childhood memories of my mom's old black Singer. I loved the noise it made and even its smell (machine oil, I guess). Beautiful "ordinary" object.

Those old Singers were always so beautiful and full of personality. And boy did they ever work and work and work.
Your composition is great and the border is absolutely perfect for this shot.
