Great colors, I like the contrast between the green and orange -- really makes the tiny insect stand out. I like the dark background, too. Good detail (sharpness)and the close crop works.

Ha! I wouldn't say it looks like he's peeing, but it's an awkward pose nonetheless. I'm glad to have your explanation -- I thought he was spilling lighter fluid into the pool. Love the blue and the yellow here.

Striking colors, I'll have to look into the Lucisart filter you mention. The council worker seems to have a kind face -- makes for an appealing photo all around.
