26day4048by Pug-HComment: Nice scruffy SP, looks very homey, especially with the cat. I need a shot of me so I can simsonize myself (yes, I'm a sheep). |

Day 27 Schoolchildrenby jonfrommkComment: Looks good to me! Lovely statues, such a gorgeous blue. Clumsy or not, please don't tumble out the window for the sake of your photography.
I don't go quite so far here in this other world capital, though I do sometimes feel like the village idiot as I find myself smiling at all sorts of people.

Day 26 On the fringe of the madding crowdby jonfrommkComment: Originally posted by jonfrommk : ...and they scuttle off as if they have just encountered a madman |
Maybe they have, Jon. Maybe they have.
Just kidding, of course. I love your descriptiveness. Once again you really made me smile.
Cool b&w photo. NOT a criticism, but am I the only one to notice the lens flare? It's like a big bubble. I have expect Glenda the Witch of the North to appear! |

day 27 - lensbabyby GinaRothfelsComment: I'll have to read more about the lensbaby, though I'm already beginning to recognize photos taken with it. This photo is VERY cool.
I'll miss your contributions and comments if you go, but do what you must! Like you, I don't feel I've made this 50 Day challenge very personal (not since Day 1), but it is what it is. :-) |

day 28. 50 days square crop. damby rozComment: Beautiful soft light, and I love how the blue shadows deep in the trees, and the bright glow at water's edge. I would not have known that was a surfboard -- it just isn't an expected item in this scene. |

Day 28a - Lava Glow by sherpetComment: Sherpet, you have a real affinity with these agave plants, as well as with other local (Australian) flora. I love the dotted light and the cool edges of the plant. Very well composed!
Have a good journey, wherever you are going. |

Day 22: Birthday Bouquetby Blue MoonComment: I did the same thing the day of a big parade here. I got all the way downtown with an extra battery in my pocket, then found I had no memory card in my camera!
Good colors. And by the way, it was pointed out to me yesterday that there's a "blur" mini-challege coming up.

Day 24: The Man in the Caféby Blue MoonComment: Pffft. It's not love, he's thinking of a bicycle! Can't you see it materializing in the thoughts above his head?
I find it fascinating that he didn't know you were taking his photo. I find that to be rare. Seems when I point a camera at someone they look up immediately.
PS: The b&w is a good choice. Message edited by author 2007-07-27 23:45:07. |

Day 25: The First Gloryby Blue MoonComment: What a beautiful flower! This makes me want to plant the same -- maybe next spring?
I like your composition and how the brightness recedes in sections -- really striking. |

Day 27 - Jiffy Lubeby BAMartinComment: This place looks so clean and tidy. My brother-in-law's garage looks nothing like this!
It's a surprisingly effective composition with the vertical lines of the shelves and the four candy machines in the lower left corner. I like the way the red repeats on the shelves and the candy machines.
