parallel recowlityby skewsmeComment: "Just" a simple reflection photo turned upside down, so why do I like it so much? Love the dark ripples around the top cow. |

b o u n dby shalrathComment: Looks a little like the actor Tim Carhart. Creepy photo and I appreciate the sense of horror achieved without having thrown great splashes of blood around. |

Cartesia Reighby wickee_oneComment: Sweet, the extreme softness really works well. Beautiful darks and lights, it has the air of an old master. |

Senior Antonioby BudComment: What a handsome face, great character, and the subdued color and gray bokeh gives it an almost old-Hollywood sheen. Well done. |

Narrow Escapeby DanielCzajaComment: Terrific photo, the path is quite dramatic, as are the deep color of eath and sky, and the one patch of "unnatural" color in the hiker's shirt. Really conveys the sense of adventure, altitude and clear mountain air. |

At the Edge of Springby sarrobiComment: Normally I'm not a big fan of flower photos, but there's something about the bold colors that grab me. |

Driftingby heavyjComment: I love the tones in this color photo and the beautiful light. Such an appealing shot -- I hope you didn't "black out" too much of the background. |

Apparitionby bucketComment: Compelling photo, definitely makes one look twice. The duotone treatment doesn't seem gratuitous (as it so often does to me). Are they sisters, or is the background a photo? Or maybe they don't really look alike and that's all in my head! High vote from me, good luck -- |

Snowshoe Hareby AlainComment: Normally I don't like frames, especially thick ones, but I have a sense that in this case the frame improves this photo (not that it needed much improving). Crop seems a bit tight, but still this gets a high score from me. |
