Big Daddy (Take 2)by TCGuruComment: Daddy Long Legs are cool (and harmless). Nice shot. Makes me think twice about digging around in the wicker hamper.

cross-IMG_9999.jpgby bergiekatComment: Kat, I love this. Not only do you have the interesting, dark cross against the beautifully colored background, you've got a visual microcosm of the witchcraft/religion bruhaha surrounding the Harry Potter books! Good one. |

Columbineby FrostyPawsComment: Very nice! I like the muted colors, I'm reminded of a faded tapestry. |

Into The Maw by spiritualspatulaComment: As others have said, I don't think the 800 ISO hurt you, and I also think the focal point should be raised (I think you are focussed by default on the closest part of the flower). |

day02.JPGby totaldisComment: I can hear Homer's little scream! You really nailed the narrow focus. |

You'd better have treats...by bergiekatComment: Well, everyone's already pointed out the focus problem. I had the same trouble the other night with my neighbor's Siamese at a narrow aperture. Nice cushions as a background, btw. |

FarmFields & Cloudsby annigComment: Nice, somehow it has the feel of a car or train shot (I think I would have guessed without being told). Seems like summer! Nice that one can get so much landscape, even with a 50mm. |

the Pond Live Oak @ 100mmby dsrayComment: I also noticed the effect the breeze had on the tree over multiple exposures, but only at the center top. Overall it's pretty neat.
If that's a woman's mouth in the sky, I think she has had too many facelifts. |

The Gardnerby pillikcamComment: I'm so happy this did well and that it has its fans. In a field of extreme closeups and fierce or somber expressions (many of which I liked very much, btw), this environmental portrait was like a breath of fresh air. I love your wife's warm, contented expression. Oh yeah, watch your spelling, especially in a title! ;-) |

blues by IsabellSchatzComment: Congratulations on a well-deserved ribbon; I really like the different shades of blue and of course the light reflected in the eyes really makes them pop. |
