Would've gone with a lower ISO since I didn't need a high shutter but I was between trying to get shots of bees and didn't think to step it back down. Oh well.

As others have said, I don't think the 800 ISO hurt you, and I also think the focal point should be raised (I think you are focussed by default on the closest part of the flower).

ISO doesnt seem to hurt thhis much, not noisy to my eye
the color, details, composition and POV are great. I like the idea of open up and say AWWWW (instead of Maw)

Nicely done - the soft focus works well here and still you have showed us minute details.

Nice DOF and colors. I like how my eye is led right to the middle part of the flower.

I do like the colouring you have here. I might have moved the focal point up just a hair. The place where the image draws my eye is out of the focal plane. Nice leading lines though.

Very abstract and nice. My eye is drawn to the "hairy" part of the flower and it isn't quite in focus. I see how the DOF is leading to that part of the flower, but on my monitor, the bottom portion of the photograph is missing a bit of detail. NOW, take that w/a grain of salt as my monitor sucks! I like your choice of crop and how you included the reddish part of the flower in the lower left.
