This has a nice colored tone to it overall, and I like the shapes created by the reeds and water. The rainbow seems too understated to be really effective in the overall composition though - unless that's what you intended by calling it "searching"?

I like how you framed this with the head at the upper left and the hair fanning out to fill the whole right side - I do find the whites a bit on the harsh side, though.

I thought this was a very interesting idea - if I'm reading it right you set up a comparison (by hair) of a son to his father - a very imaginative take. I agree with your own assessment that it might have been more effective if their eyes were level with each other.

This is an arresting shot, very nice close-up, and I like the added detail of what appears to be a bridge leading off into the background. Not sure how well you achieved the challenge, as others have noted, the hair doesn't seem to dominate as the "theme" of the image - but as an image, regardless of the challenge, I think it's very well done.

This is fantastic and it looks to me like a great children's book illustration (hope you don't find that comparison insulting). There's a delightful whimsy to it - a wonderfully creative and OOB take on the challenge requirements!
