I like how you framed this with the head at the upper left and the hair fanning out to fill the whole right side - I do find the whites a bit on the harsh side, though.

Susan, you have beautiful hair! I'm jealous! Very artistic photo. I think the shadow below chin may have hurt you score-wise, but overall I really like this one.

Susan, you got robbed big time. This is a great shot. I gave it a 7. What are people thinking?

Yay shooting at arm's length! I do that a lot. Didn't get a chance to comment during, but I gave this an 8 because I really did like it a ton. High-contrast is cool, and the face isn't in focus but the hair is more so, which makes the hair more of the point, which is neat.

nice composition but colors and exposure are a bit off.

im sure everyone is saying this, but its a bit too bright/contrasted, a bit darker on the face wouldve helped

I love the way the hair is splayed out in waves like that, and the expression on the person's face is perfect! But, well, here's my two cents. :)
It looks kind of out of focus, first of all. If you can get the focus on, then that will majorly help! Secondly, the colors are too far off. It looks like you probably did this on purpose, and it creates an intersting effect, but it's just a little bit too unnatural-looking, at least for me! ;) Also the lighting. Or maybe the contrast is just too high - but her face is very blown out and way too bright. I think this would be an awesome, beautiful shot if it weren't for that! Good try though. :)

i like the idea, but it's too bright and the lighting is really harsh!

Too blurry to me. I like the hair color, but the colors on the blown out face just aren't working. That being said, one of the first thoughts when looking at the image is "hair"
