Kiss me quickby h2Comment: Great perspective - I seem to have an affinity for in-your-face cow shots. :) On my monitor, the whiskers look like you are getting close to that fine line between sharpened and oversharpened. Great job though, one of my favorites for the challenge. |

Trees 2by KatmystiryComment: This has a nice effect too, in contrast to your other one from this day - more abstract than the other, but effectively so - the different shades of green form a dynamic patterning. |

Treesby KatmystiryComment: This is cool - just enough zoom effect to make it look fantastical, while still clearly identifiable for what it actually is. I like how you framed this, where the branches themselves are oriented in a somewhat circular pattern around one another, with all that zoom shooting out from the central set of leaves. |

In Motionby KatmystiryComment: Good look and feel to this, with the processing, but the composition doesn't engage me very well - jumbled, busy compositions aren't bad things necessarily, but this one just doesn't "hook" me. |

Hollis Brownby ColeyComment: Wow - really great, spare but powerful shot - now I'll be seeing this in my mind's eye every time I hear the song. |

Proud to Serveby BHusemanComment: The selective sharpening (or selective blur, can't quite tell which) has left some very distracting sharpness in the patterned backdrop around his head. I believe if you perform your selection with the image zoomed at 100% or greater you might be able to get a more accurate edge with your selection. This is a nice idea though, for portrait presentation, and is still a cut above average. |

Yellow Flowerby StanislawComment: This is very striking and colorful, but could be improved if the very center was more in focus - possibly your point of focus could have been pulled forward a bit and f stop increased 1 stop to bring more of that center in focus without losing focus elsewhere. |

Hay! Slow Down!by ShannonLeeComment: Fantastic play on the challenge title - the DNMC brigade will hunt you down, but I am not one of them. Great. :) |
