Check this . . . by Bruce_the_RobertComment: Looks like the humor route paid off, Rob - a pretty respectable score. :) The white gal does seem to have an air of alarm about her, like, "oh, my lord, he just showed me his ASS!" |

I Walk Because I Cannot Flyby colorcarnivalComment: What a horrible thing to befall a migratory bird. You were right to focus it as you did, and compose it headless as you did - zeros right in on the point of the piece and makes it all the more poignant. B&W was absolutely the way to go with this one. |

Walkiesby MelethiaComment: Title instantly put me in mind of Wallace and Gromit. I think this is a fine candid, and gave it a 7. |

No Calls During Dinnerby levyj413Comment: Hey, I've got a shot of that guy too! I remember him as a easy subject - he just perched and stared bug-eyed at me, took several moments to determine he was actually breathing. A beautiful, tidy-looking bird. You did a good job getting contrast out of that indoor lighting. |

In the darkness of my mind lie reflectionsby purpleflutterby13Comment: I like the interplay of dark and light here. Interesting analogy, our consciousness as a swan gliding through the dark depths of our subconscious - you should write some poetry exploring that. (although running with that analogy, I wonder what that means for SaraR's swan shot for this challenge, lol!) |

The Fish that got Awayby bdennyComment: Actually, I think the bird on the left looks pretty patient, as if he's used to these tall tales. :) I like the gentle humor of this. |

Swans & Marsh — Midwinterby Bear_MusicComment: Gorgeous color contrasts between land and water. I don't mind the noise - here it seems to accentuate that early-morning look pretty effectively. |

Coming in to landby SaraRComment: Cool hydroplane! And that seagull framed under the wing, looking unimpressed - like, "showoff". :) |
