| I like his pose - like he's checking you out. I don't mind the soft focus so much for this one, maybe it's the influence of the creamy-coloring of the background, but I think the overall softness suits this shot. |

Thanks for catching the mistake, Brian. I have corrected the lens in the image info. I was using a 50mm f1.4 prime lens. |

| I think this is definitely on the good side of good/bad, but the DOF is so shallow it makes the bird seem blurry. Nice composition -- I especially like how the branches frame the bird naturally. I also like how the pale colors contrast with the bright bird. |

| Wow, pretty bird, a little soft in the focus dept. colors and saturation and contrast are all good. Background is a little hot. |
