Snapby xianartComment: Her gaze is so intent, I feel compelled to turn and see what got her attention. There's a bit of suspense to this. |

Ferryby xianartComment: Will repeat myself and say what a great choice to go with the saturated colors in this photo set. Beautiful shot. |

Waterby xianartComment: Such nice reflections, not hit-you-over-the-head type, but quiet and unassuming. |

Zoomby xianartComment: There's kind of a breathlessness to this shot, rather in keeping with the snake discovery that goes with it! |

Lunchby xianartComment: I think the saturated colors work well for this photo essay of past events - makes it seem a bit apart from the ordinary, a bit larger than (present) life. All that space and tarmac a sign of the long road of chapters to follow. |

Winery, winter.by LevTComment: This is one quirky composition - I like it. I especially like how the texture treatment makes the background beyond the foreground grass and topiary look like a fake background - like it's a curtain on which someone painted a bucolic scene. |

Grazingby cpanaiotiComment: That is utterly wild (or should I say "udderly"?) - I'm going have to try the difference mode more often. |

baneinthebasement2.jpgby electrolostComment: Like you've opened up one of those storm doors to a cellar and peered inside, flooding the interior with daylight. I like how the dog looks partly insubstantial - a half-ghost dog. |

Seagull Bluesby trevytrevComment: Nice lighting and tones - the texture seems to help spotlight your gull, by grunge-ing out the periphery of the image. |
