over thereby skewsmeComment: Dogwood misdirection :) The pointing arm is leading my eye to that burst of bokeh in the top right. Nicely subtle, though not good for your score, I guess. ;) |

Outboundby MelethiaComment: Leading lines work well for me here - and I like how you placed the most light area on the left third of the shot, you get a sense of expansiveness from all that light-going-to-black on the right, and sets off the "main" area well, even better, I think, than the cropped version. I see this as, beyond the meet-the-challenge aspect, a study of light and shadows, so I'm not concerned too much about loss of detail. I suppose I should have voted this challenge. :( |

V E R T I G Oby snafflesComment: This is a refreshingly creative take on the challenge theme - I do think the yellow wall area detracts a bit from the full vertigo effect, if only because it is a contrasting color, perhaps - maybe there would have been a way to capture the door with the same angles to the lines, without including the side wall? |

Flow Interruptedby levyj413Comment: Crazy wild - leading lines all over the place. I like the title marriage with the image, great catch! |

Into the Lightby noranekoComment: Fantastic in b/w - personally I might have gone for more of a crop at the top, so the white sky parts up there aren't competing for attention with the doorway whites. |

Sleep tightby kashiComment: I'm one of those for whom it looks completely black on one monitor, and the image is clearly visible (though dim) on another. I have to say though, that when I got it on a monitor where I could see it, I'm amazed at the range of detail in the tones - it's like the image holds a hidden treasure. Seek and ye shall find. :) I really like that aspect of it, but agree with Juli that for the Peace challenge at least, having to hunt the image to find the image doesn't engender a peaceful feeling, and so might have run counter to any other expression of peace in the image, for the typical viewer. |

Give Peas a Chanceby colorcarnivalComment: You know for an oob take on the challenge theme, this did pretty well - top third of the challenge, even if the score is middling. If I weren't already inclined to like peas, your tasty image here would go far to sway me in their favor! :) I especially like that you thought to include the flower, something non-traditional in what could have been just a standard food shot. |

Whiteby SaraRComment: Congrats on finishing so well! I would think it's rather hard to get white on white to contrast like that - you done good! |

First Comes Understandingby raishComment: This is a smart and subtle representation of the challenge concept - these people look really connected, in the moment. |
