I really like the left half of the pic, but the cat's so dark it took me a moment to notice it. A little lighter and I think it would have had more impact.

Ah, here it is. :) I still love it, even if I can't vote on it. In fact, it's going in my faves. It seems like a painting or a woodcut to me. The bird's shape and your choice of composition add so much energy to the shot! I also think this is a great example of how putting your subject off-center can be so powerful.
