Time held me green and dying...by krnodilComment: I like this a lot. The tension between the fresh berries and the dying berries is wonderful. In fact, I would've cropped it so the blue ones are closer to the bottom and the red ones are closer to the right edge to make that contrast even stronger. Yes, it's a multi-subject composition - that's the point. :) |

and damnationby raishComment: Heh. Great sense of humor and the subject and processing match the concept quite well. |

Slipping Awayby noranekoComment: Hooray! Congrats on your top 10. Thanks, too, for your explanations during the week trying to capture the essence of wabi-sabi. I also appreciated your details of why it's difficult to translate Japanese into English. From what you said, this shot captures it perfectly: evanescence and beauty in objects not normally seen as perfect. |

Winter Puddleby bleuComment: Congrats on the great find and shooting it well! You have quite the artistic eye. Thanks for the link to your other stuff, too - remarkably diverse, but also full of what I love: different takes on common subjects. |

Hidden Spotlightby JohnnyPhDComment: Very, very pretty shot. Congrats on your top 10! The lighting is excellent, the pose is gorgeous, and the whole thing has a dreamy feel to it. |

Ellies-Rainy-Day.jpgby JohnnyPhDComment: Oh, what a story in this shot! Who can't imagine how she's feeling? I do have two suggestions: clone out the cord end holder thing on the right and increase the contrast a bit, at least on her. |

A Fashionable Outtakeby JohnnyPhDComment: Another nice non-traditional composition from you. You obviously know what you're doing. I also appreciate the different processing. Well done! |

The Final Embraceby JohnnyPhDComment: This is a great, emotional shot, and I think the title fits perfectly. They look like they (well, you) have a very tight grip on each other, like one of you is heading off to war, or moving across the country, or whatever. Maybe it's my own experience of something similar (we survived the distance and now have been married for 14 years!). I also really like the shapes of both of your bodies - interesting details that only come out under stress. My only suggestion would be to brighten the hair on both of you a bit to help separate your heads from the background. |

S t o r m by hihosilverComment: An unusual orientation, but you sure captured some amazing tones and contrasts in those clouds! I think it might be a bit too tall for my taste, but really just a great shot. |
