Capturedby TCGuruComment: Yikes! I don't wanna be there when you get out. ;) You've used light and shadow very well here to drive the attention where everyone else has noticed, too: your eyes. I can't help but think that finger's intentional, also! |

Spring in Winterby serenetyComment: Hi Serenety. I like the flowers. This is a good example of a shot that could really get some pop with not terribly much editing effort. Even a minor "curves" adjustment would add contrast.
Try your camera in aperture priority mode and play around with depth of field. You can do some pretty amazing things with the lens wide open (which is the smallest F-stop). |

musical spacesby tateComment: Beautiful! I love the stark, graphic feel of this, including the pure black building on the right. |

Gullsby GuGiComment: I like the composition, but the editing doesn't work for me. I hope you like it, though! |

Captain Sparrowby ace flymanComment: Very nice composition and he's nice and sharp. I just wish I could see more of the detail in his face. It might be a monitor difference, but most of his head is solid black here, as is the black patch at the top of his breast. |

Weeeeeeeee! by fototracyComment: Congrats on your first ribbon! Didn't take you long. :)
Bill Cosby did a great comedy sketch on playground equipment, and something like this was featured. |

Crown of Thornsby QuasimojoComment: Yes, do keep entering edgy photos that you like.
But you might want to back off a bit on your anger at the voters. They're entitled to their opinions.
Putting those two together, enter shots like this to share them with others and see what kind of reaction you get, not for the score.
BTW, in case you don't know who Joey Lawrence is, you should be very pleased he faved this, esp. during the challenge. |
