Yikes! I don't wanna be there when you get out. ;) You've used light and shadow very well here to drive the attention where everyone else has noticed, too: your eyes. I can't help but think that finger's intentional, also!

The eyes really make a total statement here, as if they are peering deeper in, asking for help and warning of independence. I look through the rest of the image and I am taken straight back to the eyes, I could crop out everything else and the eyes would still hold my attention. Very nice start and I look forward to your emotions with great anticipation.
